This item should be ready before thou begin the work: package of glow–in–the–dark stars, drill, jigsaw, paintbrush, scissors, level, heated—glue gun, semi‐gloss paint, sheet of laminated, furniture―grade plywood, 12‐14 screws, rice lights, big paper bag.

Cut a plywood according to the dimensions of the bedstead. The lumberyard where you purchase it will frequently cut it to your precise dimensions. Paint it with your choice of color. We applied rich blue color to reflect a nighttime sky. Let the initial coat dry totally then thou can coating again if needed.

Make the moon template on a paper. A big paper bag should work well since it is sturdy also thick. Put the template on the wood also insert screws around. Keep the whole pattern on the peak half of the plank, leaving space at the bottom for the pillow to rest against.

Drill a hole large enough for the lamps to get through close the bottom of the moon where it could be hidden. Apply paint to beautify the holes also screw heads. Rope the lights thru hole leaving the plug on the rear side of the wood.

Encase the lights circa the screws in a variant of directions, making a moon shape, tucking in the stray lights. Apply hot glue to stick the glow‐in‐the‐dark stars circa the moon. Save leastwise 4 large stars to covering the screws that will be applied to attach the plank to a wall.

Put foam floor shield pads (normally applied for chairs) on the rear of the plank to keep it a little off the wall, enabling the wall plug to break out the back. Put the headboard in position on the wall behind the berth. Ensure it is screw already also level into wall–studs. Put 4 screws close the top 3rd of the board. Covering the screws with the stars.
